Car guys (and a few car girls) like to believe they know everything there is to know about cars.

So, how do you change their minds about the Lexus LC 500 is a naturally aspirated V8 with an exhaust note that screams that this is no ordinary Lexus?

Easy, you prove them wrong.

So, we went to SEMA, and challenged “car people” to identify a car based only on the sound of its exhaust note.

Many tried. Most failed. And the Lexus LC 500 left a lasting impression.

It also didn’t hurt that they, the experts, put this car in some rather esteemed company like McLaren, Aston Martin, and Ferrari.

We didn’t argue, after all, these guys really know their stuff.
